I thought you meant $10.00 a week period, now that makes sense. I only spend $35.00 - $40.00 (sometimes less depending on my coupons). I make everything from scratch except when I'm feeling lazy or really hurting I'll use box potatoes other wise it's fresh! I wish McCords was closer I love that store! Dick and I did go out to the farm market and stock up. We have the basement and it stays cool so the produce keeps well and where else can you buy butternut squash for $.60ea, spaghetti squash$.75 ea acorn squash $.50 ea cucumbers$.20ea and another squash but I forget the name (but it's good!) for $.40 ea? What a steal! If Dick would eat green, yellow and red peppers they were $.25 ea! Good luck! Speaking of groceries I need to go bc I haven't gone in 2 weeks! Excuse any mistakes, I was in a hurry....
Valerienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328714172073548573.post-17756050532044696992013-09-23T08:41:22.899-04:002013-09-23T08:41:22.899-04:00"Novel idea" hahaha..."Novel idea" hahaha...Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16139188188043795169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328714172073548573.post-68327022139062635882013-09-22T00:08:51.878-04:002013-09-22T00:08:51.878-04:00Now there's a novel idea (see what I did there...Now there's a novel idea (see what I did there?!) ;-) But seriously, I think that's what I'm going to have to do!Ashley Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148566271312646584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328714172073548573.post-84817819499784107302013-09-21T15:31:00.107-04:002013-09-21T15:31:00.107-04:00I don't download books that are part of a seri...I don't download books that are part of a series. :) Solves that problem. ;)Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16139188188043795169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328714172073548573.post-48857554707957727402013-09-21T10:12:02.580-04:002013-09-21T10:12:02.580-04:00I do love being a SAHM. It's funny because all through high school and even my first couple years of college I assumed I would be a working mom but God really changed my heart and I have never been so happy as to be able to be home with my little guy!

Thanks for the link to the "No Spend Month". I'll have to check that out!

And yes, I do follow eReader Girl. That's part of my problem. I get a free book from her blog that's part of a series, and then a couple months later I find the 2nd or 3rd book in the series for $1.99 or $2.99 and I figure, well that's so cheap! ;-)Ashley Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148566271312646584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328714172073548573.post-10633651217430960222013-09-21T09:52:12.546-04:002013-09-21T09:52:12.546-04:00Sounds great, Ashley! (But it is so rewarding to be a SAHM, it's worth it. :) )

Small Notebook has done a "No Spend Month" a few years in a row, it's interesting to see what she says about it. http://smallnotebook.org/category/money/

Do you follow the eReader Girl blog? That's how I find my free Kindle books. :) http://ereadergirl.com/Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16139188188043795169noreply@blogger.com
